Opus Enjoys a Busy 2 Days at IP Expo Europe 2016
The Opus team enjoyed a busy two days at the IP Expo Europe event in London’s Excel last week. Final numbers are being confirmed but the organisers are already claiming a record attendance for the event, which covered amongst other things, Cloud Technology, Security, Networks and Infrastructure.
The Opus stand hosted in partnership with Mitel was well attended with visitors keen to see the latest Mitel Collaboration and Contact Centre solutions being demonstrated, as well as to take part in the prize draw for the Surface Pro PC.
The winning entry is being drawn tomorrow and will be announced once we have permission from the lucky winner.
In addition to the stand, we also hosted a speaking session in the Unified Communications and Collaboration Theatre on The Best Path to Mobile Collaboration, which was introduced by Opus Sales Director John Wright and delivered by Mitel’s Field Marketing Director Ian Bevington.
Our thanks goes out to Ian for his insight into how collaboration had evolved to its current form and how it was merging the boundaries between business and social media, driven by the move to mobile first communication.
Ian also introduced Mitel’s latest collaboration application MiTeam, which enables the effective management of project streams, amongst multi-disciplined and remotely located teams. This was later demonstrated on our stand.
