We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Project Manager to manage our SME/Mid Market and early Enterprise projects for telephony solutions.  As a driven and experienced PM, you will be used to working at a fast pace and be highly effective at working within cross-functional teams to deliver end to end projects within specified time-frames and budgets.

The ideal candidate will be degree educated and have 5 or more years experience within a telecoms service environment.  You will be a Prince2 practitioner who  can effectively apply this methodology to the projects you work on.

Key Accountabilities
  • Own the project delivery for all projects within the SME/MidMarket and early Enterprise sectors ensuring end to end deliverables happen on time and within budget
  • Identify any errors and potential pitfalls in the day to day operations, recommending possible solutions and/or escalating within management teams in a timely fashion
  • Ensure all projects and updates are regularly communicated to relevant teams to ensure everyone is aware of how projects are progessing
  • Develop forms and records to effectively document project activities and help to improve company processes
  • Effectively liaise with customers, networks and 3rd parties through to completion of projects
  • Be responsible for all project programme management including governance, tracking, feedback on performance and improvments, financials and project optimisation
Essential Skills & Attributes
  • Degree/Diploma or equivalent industry relevant qualification
  • Experienced in using Prince2
  • 5 years plus experience working in telecoms service and/or as a project manager
  • Proven project management track record of delivering large and small projects to time and within budget
  • PBX and IP Networking knowledge
  • Proficient in all Microsoft 365 applications

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Engineering Manager to manage our high performing Engineering team.   As a senior member of the engineering team, and working closely with the Head of Project Management, you will be responsible for the day to day management and measurement of the Engineering and Resourcing teams, ensuring all individuals consistently deliver a high level of customer satisfaction within the project delivery and engineering functions.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of industry/ manufacturer experience including product knowledge of the Mitel Porfolio.   You must be able to manage, mentor and champion your team to provide the best outputs and will be adept at managing escalations working closely with manufacturers to achieve successful resolutions.

Key Accountabilities
  • Day to day management of Engineering and Resourcing teams, providing motivation, mentoring, guidance and appraisals on a regular basis
  • Ability to discuss and align Opus company strategy with customers, staff and suppliers to ensure teams are working at optimum levels of performance
  • Ensure a smooth and joined up project delivery into BAU, collaborating and working closely with Pre Sales, PMO and BAU Service
  • Work closely with PMO regarding out of hours project delivery and be there to support when required
  • Ensure the engineering team is kept up to date with manufacturer software updates
  • Act as the point of escalation for Engineering with a dynamic approach to customer incident resolution
  • Execute all departmental processes and ensure the team are following ISO processes to effectively deliver projects
  • Regularly review and where necessary streamline the Opus CRM system to maximise effectiveness and efficiencies
  • Be able to analyse Engineering delivery, identifying and communicating improvements when required
Essential Skills & Attributes
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in industry/manufacture including product knowledge of the Mitel portfolio
  • Experience of managing escalations working closely with manufacturers to ensure successful resolution
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, together with a positive and proactive attitude
  • Ability to problem solve and keep all departments aware of problems and solutions
  • Ability to effectively manage teams, motivating and developing them in a positive, optimistic and helpful way

Candidates must have a minimum of 4 years industry experience, be PABX and Network Hardware/Software Applications trained, IT Microsoft office proficient and PC literate, with experience of carrying out IP-based installations.

Candidates should understand LAN/ WAN/SIP Fundamentals, preferably at CCNA or CTP level and possess an excellent thorough fault process mentality to correctly evaluate calls, together with self-reliance on their own technical abilities and knowledge.

Candidates must have experience of managing escalations, working closely with the manufacturers to achieve a successful resolution. They should be able to demonstrate focused customer care skills, both on site and remotely, clear direction setting and a methodical work ethic.

Candidates must have strong communication skills, be well presented with a flexible positive attitude and good proactive problem solving skills. They require a good telephone manner, the ability to communicate verbally and in writing in a professional way and possess the ability to understand the point of view of other departments and put own point of view clearly. They should also be good at keeping other departments in the picture and flagging up potential problems.

Personal skills required
  • The ability to work well in teams, be a pleasant/helpful/optimistic self-starter, requiring minimal supervision.
  • Well-organised and strong on follow up.
  • Punctual with a good attendance record.
  • Strong on conflict resolution and problem solving ability.
