IT Sales Consultant

We are currently recruiting for a highly motivated and driven individual who will be responsible for further developing our business’ sales function. We are an IT division within a communications business, which provides technology solutions to mid-market businesses. As a Microsoft Cloud Solutions Provider, our core portfolio focuses on Microsoft’s Azure and 365 cloud products. The IT division has been earmarked for extensive investment and growth through the coming financial years.

As Sales Consultant you will be responsible for business development and account management activities relating to the division. The role is to develop sales opportunities for new and existing clients through selling Microsoft cloud and support solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for the entire sales cycle range of activities. This is a position with great potential as the role will allow the successful candidate to grow with the division and potentially become a sales manager.

Role Responsibilities:

  • To work with the head of the department to agree sales and marketing strategies;
  • To achieve monthly revenue targets and a first year annual target of £300,000;
  • To achieve set KPIs including: number of appointments set, number of outbound and effective calls made, number of proposals and presentations delivered;
  • To generate own leads by calling and booking appointments;
  • To build prospect pipeline managing revenue / new customer pipeline;
  • To account manage clients and up-sell services through regular meetings;
  • To canvass new business from current client database.

Competencies and Professional Traits:

  • Minimum of 2 years sales experience within the Information Technology sector;
  • Ideally experience in selling, Microsoft services, support and Virtual platforms;
  • Strong communication and demonstrable client-facing skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines with strong planning and negotiation skills;
  • Enthusiastic attitude with a willingness to cover a range of tasks;
  • A self-starter with excellent attention to detail;
  • A team player with well-developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills;
  • Worked with a variety of clients in an SME environment;
  • Educated to degree or equivalent level;
  • Must be eligible to work and live in the UK and hold a valid driver’s license

New Business Consultant

Excellent Basic salary, plus uncapped commission

Now is a great time to join this growing tech business, we are looking for experienced Telesales professionals to join our new inside sales team. This is a key role for Opus’ continued growth, we are looking to build a new lead generation team and are in need ambitious sales people who want to shape and influence how we develop the team.

Working from our pristine offices opposite Reigate station, using the latest tech you will be researching and calling organisations across the UK to arrange appointments for our successful field sales teams.

Duties to include:
  • Using consultative selling techniques to cold call IT managers and directors across multiple sectors to understand their phone system, IT and print service requirements, to find out where we can add value to the business.
  • Developing relationships with prospect organisations currently in contract, demonstrating why Opus should be in the forefront of their minds when they are ready to come to market.
  • Booking qualified meetings for our Field Sales teams, with prospects who have projects to buy solutions within the next 12 months.
  • Qualifying inbound leads and booking meetings for Field Sales
  • Assisting with email campaigns to develop prospective leads

Work Experience; minimum of 1-year B2B Telesales experience either booking meetings or selling a service.

Person: a persuasive and creative communicator, both verbally and in writing, with an excellent telephone manner, good level of written English, rapport building skills, ability to listen to prospects, understand and articulate benefits.

The ideal candidate would be PC literate, proficient in Microsoft Office, with an exposure to and ability to maintain, proper prospect records on a CRM/database.

Project Manager

We are looking for a new member of the team to join the Project Management department, reporting to the Head of Engineering.

Duties will include:

  • Providing enterprise project management for PBX, solutions, applications and/or network installations
  • Keeping ISO documentation up to date
  • Staff management and development
  • Documenting project activities
  • New product development planning and management
  • Liaising with customers, networks and third parties

You must hold a degree, diploma or equivalent industry recognised qualification in a technical area, and be a Prince2 practitioner or effectively apply Prince2 methodology.

We are looking for somebody with 7 years’ experience in telecoms service and 5 years’ experience working as a project manager and/or manager of people. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of delivering converged communications, projects large and small, on time and on budget.

We are looking for someone who has PBX knowledge, IP Networking skills and is proficient in Microsoft Office.

Self reliance on technical abilities and knowledge is a must, with a mind-set capable to see a fault through to the end.

Strong communication skills, problem solving ability and confidence are very important. We are looking for somebody with an excellent telephone manner, with the ability to write a professional letter and report and the ability to work well in teams.

Experienced Mitel Engineers

Candidates must have necessary skills on installation, programming & commissioning of enterprise solutions working with the client, projects and pre-sales teams and effective liaison with any 3rd parties.

Candidates must have a minimum of 4 years industry experience, be PABX and Network Hardware/Software Applications trained, IT Microsoft office proficient and PC literate, with experience of carrying out IP-based installations.

Candidates should understand LAN/ WAN/SIP Fundamentals, preferably at CCNA or CTP level and possess an excellent thorough fault process mentality to correctly evaluate calls, together with self-reliance on their own technical abilities and knowledge.

Candidates must have experience of managing escalations, working closely with the manufacturers to achieve a successful resolution. They should be able to demonstrate focused customer care skills, both on site and remotely, clear direction setting and a methodical work ethic.

Project Engineer

We are looking for a new member of the team to join the Project Management department, reporting to the Engineering Manager.

Duties will include:

  • Installation and programming of PABX & Network Hardware/Software at customer premises.
  • Effective liaison with customers, Networks, and 3rd parties involved.
  • Maintenance diagnosis/replacements for hardware and/or software.
  • Remote technical support to customers for system & software related queries
  • Remote programming for additional works and system related changes
  • End User training for hardware and software products installed.
  • Internal/External cabling installation, terminations & testing.
  • Support Project Management team technically on Projects

We are looking for engineers with a minimum of 2 years industry/manufacturer experience including product related qualifications for installations and ongoing support of  PBX and Network Hardware/Software.

Part-Time Marketing Executive

We are currently looking for a part time marketing executive to join our experienced marketing team. Ideally suited to candidates with similar marketing experience and Adobe design skills, it’s a varied role in which you’ll contribute to and develop integrated marketing campaigns to promote our brand, products, services and events. Duties will include:

  • Helping with marketing plans, advertising, direct marketing and campaigns.
  • Writing and proofing copy for all marketing collateral, including brochures, letters, emails and websites.
  • Designing internal and external marketing communications.
  • Communicating with target audiences and build and develop customer relationships.
  • Undertaking ongoing analysis of marketing campaigns to ensure targets are met.
  • Assisting in the production of ongoing competitor analysis and reporting.
  • Event organisation and administration.
  • Managing data from events and campaigns onto our CRM system.
  • Producing creative content, including videos and blog posts.
  • Supporting the marketing director in delivering agreed activities.

Requirements of the role

Benefits

The role is working 25 hours per week in our vibrant office in Reigate, reporting to the marketing director. Salary will be based on experience but will include 25 days holiday per year and usual benefits.
